Gypsum is used at almost every stage of mushroom cultivation, adding essential minerals and trace elements to bulk substrates or grain, aiding in mushroom development and increasing yields.

Our powdered Gypsum can be added to soak or boiled water at grain preparation stage or direct to substrate as a nutritional supplement. Gypsum (Calcium Sulphate) Is also used to increase the PH of substrates for growing mushrooms

Gypsum should be mixed at a rate of 2.5% of the dry weight of the bulk substrate and 1 tablespoon per litre of grain spawn.
