The Psilocybe cubensis A+ strain has a unique appearance with ghostly white stems and caps, in most cases almost completely without pigment.
When exposed to light it can still produce some pigment, therefore it’s technically not a true albino strain, but leucistic.
In order to grow creamy white ‘Albino’ mushrooms, you’ll need to expose the mushrooms to a bare minimum amount of light as soon as the first pin emerges. For example, a dark corner of the room, but never in complete darkness.
Substrate: Compost, grain, pasteurized dung & straw
Temperature during colonization: 28-30 °C
Temperature during cropping: 22-25 °C
Albino A+ has a strong flavour and high potency. Get past the taste, though, and he’ll give you a serious trip. Visuals are getting a jello-like texture, jiggling and making you laugh like crazy

LEUCISTIC (ALBINO) A+ MUSHROOMS
Albino a+ mushrooms is a beautiful psilocybe cubensis mushroom to grow. The caps of this magic mushroom are creamy white and the stems have a blue shimmer to them. This spectacular strain is a mutation of the Albino A+ mushrooms Strain and the ‘Albino‘ to grow from spores or a mushroom kit. The Albino A+ is a fast colonizer, intermediate colonizer and it produces above average yields.
This strain tends to have very large fruit that sporulate heavily. Easy to fruit strain and a classic.
If you are looking for a reliable strain for your microscopy purposes, this one is a must have in your collection.The white A+ appears to be an Albino. But when looked closely to the stem it has a light brown color. This reduced pigmentation is called Leucism, this makes the Albino A+ a Leucistic mutation of the A strain.
All ‘Albino’ mushrooms mutations are Leucistic. They can appear in every psilocy cubensis strain. For example the Treasure Coast is know to have them time to time.
